AN ex-policeman from Bridgwater has taken part in an unusual experience on behalf of Febreze Car.
Adine Curran, of Rhode Lane, was selected from a pool of nine finalists to be part of a trio of drivers to undertake a very special road trip across Europe in one car, over three weeks starting at the end of June.
Armed with only Febreze Car Vent Clips to assist in their mission to keep their car smelling fresh, the trip saw them navigate some of the smelliest challenges the Continent has to offer.
Adine, 43, who is a health and nutrition business owner, said: “When I saw the opportunity to audition to be part of this trip, I jumped at the chance to be part of such an unusual and once in a lifetime experience.
“I think I was chosen because I proved that I could offer the team strong leadership and direction.
Speaking fluent Norwegian may have given me a slight edge as well!”
Along the way they picked up surprise passengers who gave an opinion on the air freshness in the car. If they didn’t approve, the team faced a smelly detour.
