ENTRIES are open for the first Excellence in Fire and Emergency Awards (the EFEs).
The awards have been launched by FIRE Magazine, in association with Babcock, to honour the many heroes who save millions of lives and help countless others every day.
The awards acknowledge the ‘hidden’ heroics of the innovative people committed to improving safety and efficiency in the face of massive financial cuts.

The deadline is Thursday 31st July 2014 and an awards ceremony will be held at the prestigious Caledonian Club in Belgravia, London on October 17.
