Talented Bridgwater students take on Italian market
Teams were given the task of designing and marketing a limited edition product for an Italian market and Yeo Valley in the Yeo Valley Challenge.
The Bridgwater College Academy team produced a ‘Somerset cream tea’ with a Greek yogurt base, strawberry purée, strawberry jam, clotted cream and plain sweet scone crumbs.
The marketing director of Yeo Valley who judged the competition chose this as the winning flavour and complimented the team on their product, pricing, nutritional considerations and packaging, as well as on their mastery of Italian.
Congratulations go to Clare Cochran, Catherine Hutt, Cameron Andrews and Nicole Godfrey.
