A SERVICE to celebrate Pentecost featured the work of three Bridgwater support groups.
The celebration was held at ChiltonTrinity School, Bridgwater, on June 25, and featured Bridgwater foodbank, Bridgwater Street Pastors and World Vision.
The Rev Ed Moll, vicar of St George’s Church, Wembdon, spoke of the work of these organisations in the community.
Ted Stock, a spokesman for the foodbank, said: “It was heartwarming to see the hundreds of supporters for the three charities.
“I spoke to many people and they all expressed their appreciation that these charities were doing their work in our town.”
The foodbank will be collecting donations in Asda Bridgwater this Saturday and then again next month in Morrisons Bridgwater on Saturday, July 12.
Donations can also be dropped in at Sainsburys.
