PARENTS and friends of Bridgwater Wolves FC are cycling from Land’s End in Cornwall to Bridgwater to raise money for their club.

The seven cyclists will be raising money for the charity CLIC Sargent as a member of the club’s committee has recently had a family member diagnosed with cancer.

Donna Angell, fundraising committee member for Bridgwater Wolves football club, said: “CLIC Sargent do an amazing job helping these families through such tough times. We wanted to show our appreciation.

“The lads are currently training hard in preparation for this event.

“When they arrive in Bridgwater we are going to mark the brilliant achievement with a fun day where we will continue to collect for CLIC Sargent.”
