UNISON members at County Hall in Taunton, were treated to a slice of cake as part of a campaign for “fair pay”.
The stunt at County Hall last Wednesday came ahead of a national strike ballot by the union which began on Friday.
UNISON claims most of its members are receiving a 1% increase following a three-year freeze – they want a minimum rise of £1.20 an hour.
