A CHARITABLE music evening will be taking place at a Bridgwater church next month to raise money for the Somerset Flood Relief Fund.

The Musical Kaleidoscope will take place on June 13 at Bridgwater Methodist Church on Monmouth Street in Bridgwater from 7.15pm.

Kate Hewson, Spokeswoman for Winds of Change, one of the bands performing at the event, said: “We wanted to do something to help raise cash for the Somerset Flood Relief Fund, a charity that helps victims of the flood on the Somerset Levels rebuild their homes and, in some cases, their livelihoods.”

Other acts performing include the BEES, a young entertainment group from Burnham who will be performing extracts from ‘The Little Mermaid’, and Coraley Dunn, who will be playing a range of tunes with her flute.

Tickets cost £5 per adult, £2.50 for juniors or £10 for families, are available from The Treacle Well, located opposite the Town Hall, or by calling 01278 458580, or can be bought on the door.
