M5 crash between Taunton and Wellington

- THE M5 northbound has reopened following a three-vehicle collision between Wellington and Taunton
THE M5 is now reported to have fully reopened.
This is the final update.
MOTORIST Sarah Godber-Ford has only just made it home after being caught in traffic for 2 hours.
She said: "The traffic was at a complete stand still. The fire brigade, ambulances and lots of police were at the scene.
"I heard a helicopter too, but I don't know if it was involved."
A SPOKESPERSON for the Highways Agency says teams are working to make the scene safe before fully reopening the M5 carriageway between Taunton and Wellington.
He said: "The emergency services have now moved the vehicles onto the hard shoulder, and have lane one closed until we can recover the vehicles.
"There is no set time at this stage for when the lane will be reopened, but two lanes are open, and traffic is able to pass the scene.
"Once the vehicles have been recovered and it is safe to do so, we will reopen the carriageway."
LONG delays are still being reported as a result of tonight's incident. Awaiting updates from the Highways Agency.
TWO people have been taken to Musgrove Park Hospital following tonight's collision, say Avon & Somerset Police.
The incident occurred a couple of miles before Junction 25 of the M5 northbound.
It is thought that the injuries sustained by those involved in the crash are "not life-threatening or life-changing", a police spokesperson has said.
Two lanes of the M5 are now up and running again, with one lane remaining closed as the clear-up operation continues.
THREE vehicles have been involved in tonight's collision, which happened at around 6.45pm, Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service has confirmed.
Two fire engines from Wellington and a rescue tender from Taunton have been mobilised to the scene of the collision between Junctions 25 and 26 northbound on the M5.
Crews have managed to release an individual who was discovered trapped in one of the vehicles on their arrival.
Ambulance crews have been treating those injured.
The road is expected to reopen at 9.15pm.
