Organ concerts for flood relief play across Somerset
EASTER Monday afternoon saw the launch of a series of organ recitals set to play across Somerset to raise money for flood victims.
The Wind and Wave recitals started in St Mary's Church in Bridgwater and there are a further 18 concerts lined up in various churches across the county from now and the end of August.
The first concert was given by two local organists, John Bodiley and Andrew Hinkley, and their 40 minute recital raised almost £300.
Organised by the Somerset Organists' and Choirmasters' Association, the money will be donated to the Somerset Flood Relief Fund.
