TWO young photographers from Bridgwater have been crowned winners of the Rotary Young Photographer of the Year district finals.
Greg Welbourne and Emily Bridges, students at Haygrove School, won their respective age categories at the Rotary Club Young Photographer of the Year competition in February.
Now they have built on this success by winning the district finals held at Beaminster School in Dorset.
The judges were experts from Bridport Camera Club and they judged Greg’s photos to be technically superior to all the other entries and Emily’s to be overall the most outstanding entry.
Their photographs will now be entered into the Rotary National Finals in May.
