POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Bridgwater.
At about 11.20pm on Tuesday, April 22, a 27-year-old man was walking along Broadway, near the BP garage, when another man tried to grab his bag A struggle ensued but the victim managed to keep hold of his bag and the offender ran off.
Investigating officer Det Con Jason Earl said: “Fortunately the victim was not physically harmed but this was still a distressing ordeal for him.
“We believe a woman driving a black vehicle, possibly a Peugeot, may have seen this incident and I am appealing for her to get in touch.”
