A COUPLE celebrating their diamond wedding decided that, instead of gifts for their anniversary, they wanted to raise money for cancer research.
Hazel and George Hingston of Taunton Road, Bridgwater, told their guests to give them money so they could hand a cheque over to Cancer Research UK.
The event raised just over £450 for the charity and was given over to Bridgwater friends of Cancer Research.
