A GYM in Bridgwater has enlisted Britain’s strongest man to help raise money for a cancer charity.
Trimwise Health and Fitness Club in Eastover will be hosting a fundraising day on April 26 in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer South West.
Trimwise manager Pete Mathews said: “We’re celebrating our tenth anniversary and we also support the charity, so we wanted to do something extra special.
“We will be holding a 12-hour Aerobathon and a Strongest Man competition, which will be judged by Britain’s strongest man, Laurence Shahlaei.”
The Aerobathon will run from 8am to 8pm, with eight different classes throughout the day.
The Strongest Man competition will run from 9am to 4pm, with a £5 donation required from members to enter, and £10 from non-members.
All money raised on the day will go to the charity, and Trimwise hopes to raise over £1,000.
Prizes include gym membership and merchandise. To register to enter call 01278-727990.
