POLICE are hunting car vandals after a string of thefts from several vehicles in Bridgwater.
The thefts took place overnight on February 10/11 and February 22/23, mainly in the Sydenham area.
Sgt Gary Young of Bridgwater police told the Mercury: “There has been a recent rise in thefts from cars in the Sydenham estate.
“I would urge people not to leave valuables on display in vehicles and to please report anything suspicious using the non-emergency number, 101.”
Vehicles were broken into and items stolen include four black angle grinders, a large red toolbox containing multiple electrical terminals, three-draw toolboxes with sockets, spanners, Allen keys, a jump pack, a Navman satnav, various DEWALT and Makita tools and equipment including drills and a Paslode nail gun.
