GROUPS and events can benefit from a free stall at Burnham’s farmers market.
Somerset Farmers' Market has offered the use of a free stall as part of a new initiative to promote and coordinate the great range of events that Burnham has to offer.
A slot can be shared by two or three organisations, so only one person would have to be to be present at a time. To avoid any possible disputes, the farmers' markets do not host groups promoting particular political or religious interests.
The market is held in the High Street on the last Friday of the month, sets up no later than 8.30am and runs from 9am to 1pm. Groups can book in with business and tourism manager Ian Jefferies via ianfromburnham@gmail.com.
