HEALTH and Social Care students from Bridgwater College visited a residential care home in Burnham to help the residents.

The students gave out tea, coffee and cakes at Frith House, as well as helping with a quiz assisting partially-sighted residents by writing and addressing cards.

The students did this in additional to their normal coursework, to enable them to use their classroom based learning in a real life environment.

Jordan Tremayne, 18, from Bridgwater said: “The visit was really interesting and fun. It was lovely to help the residents.”
