THE Bridgwater Guide and Scout Shop has officially re-opened after volunteers finished helping to move and re-decorate it.
The shop has moved from the top floor of Unity House in Dampiet Street to the bottom floor so visitors will not have to climb 40 flights of stairs.
Mollie and Colin Gay, the volunteers who run the shop, helped pack up everything for the move.
The re-decorating was carried out by members of Girlguiding.
The Girlguiding movement and the Scouts rely on donations to keep going, and all the profit from the shop is divided between the two organisations.
The shop is open every Saturday during term time from 10am to noon.
