MCBUSTED, a pop-rock supergroup made up of McFly and members of Busted, have announced they are coming to Weston this summer for a huge outdoor live show.

The über-band formed after Matt Willis and James Bourne, two-thirds of Busted, joined McFly on stage for their four 10th anniversary concerts at the Royal Albert Hall last year.

Between them they have achieved 14 number 1s and three Brit Awards – amounting to 15 million combined record sales.

Matt and James, plus Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd, Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter, will play at Weston beach on Saturday June 28, playing all the McFly and Busted hits, with tickets set to go on sale on Friday.

In what has rapidly expanded into a 35-date 2014 arena tour due to rocketing fan demand, including three sold-out O2 shows and a headline show at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park in July, more dates are expected to follow.

But that’s not all – joining them as special guests is one of the biggest boybands of all time, the Backstreet Boys, along with English indie rock band, Scouting For Girls, the reformed 5IVE, fresh from The Big Reunion: On Tour, plus dynamic dance troupe and Britain’s Got Talent winners, Diversity.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday at www.aeglive.co.uk
