THE England women's cricket captain Charlotte Edwards has visited Chilton Trinity School to inspire and coach dozens of students.
Charlotte was appearing as part of the role as ambassador of the Chance to Shine campaign which is helping to promote girls cricket in state schools.
She played indoor cricket and other lessons with the girls and was then available for question and answer sessions throughout the day.
Head of PE Robert Suik, said: “Our girls were inspired. Charlotte is a brilliant role model and a great coach too.”
