Family tribute to Wellington motorcycle collision victim Nik A'Court-Wills
THE family of a motorcyclist who died in a collision near Wellington described him as a 'loving son' and 'devoted father'.
Nik A'Court-Wills, 56, died when his motorcycle collided with a car at Quarts Moor in Wrangway at around 7.10pm last Thursday (August 29).
Paying tribute to Nik, his family said: "He was a loving son, brother and husband and devoted father to his two children.
"His death has shocked and devastated his family and friends and he will be missed terribly by all who knew him."
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset police said: "Two cars were travelling along the road in the direction of Hemyock. The car in front wanted to turn right into a roadside parking area.
"A motorcycle, which was following both cars, passed the second and following car and was then in collision with the car waiting to turn right. The rider was thrown from his bike.
Two fire engines from Wellington and a rescue tender from Taunton attended the scene along with police and ambulance crews.
