A FIRE crew from Bridgwater put out a chimney fire in Westonzoyland this afternoon.

Firefighters were sent to a property in Fore Street shortly after 2.30pm.

All thats missing is a tale of a family of Owls being displaced from the chimney. No doubt they will have lived there for a very long time one of the owls may have been a former chef; another used to chauffeur gas guzzling cars the third was a former politician all of them of the blue variety although now slightly singed. They made an awful lot of noise when the fire spread although this was not unusual so it took some time before a member of the public took their cries seriously luckily they just survived even if the chimney didn't.
