This is typical, very little or none notification in the Press, saw a little 5 line snippet offering a link to the Website. To Comment - Unfortunatly the link was'nt connected, had to telephone the Mercury to get it sorted, after lunch. I signed in to make my comments.
This opportunity to comment Finishes this Friday, 3 days only, not good at all.
Then, the Meeting itself is a Closed Meeting, to Invited attendee's only, no Public Allowed to attend.
So they ask for our comments, and then, will not read out each comment, but reprint the comments, into an Agenda.
SCC, this is not the way to do the Flood Issues for Somerset, I spent 2 yrs Formily representing SDC , with meetings re- Flood prevention Measures, in my time as a Councillor.

Hang on, there's all this spare water knocking about, and we've just splashed out 6.3 million quid on a new pool?! What a terrible misappropriation of funds.

Once the world"s greatest maritime nation - England - has lost its shipbuilding industries. Can we see a rebirth of this industry, with our shipyards building vessels along the lines of Noah"s Ark?. Houses on stilts also have their place.
