Fantastic news - hope there are no NIMBYs, 'town green status' or other stuck in the muds to prevent this going ahead.

Things like this are what the town needs, proper private enterprise providing sustainable facilities.

Well I for one an extremely saddened by the lack of affordable homes and 24hr grocery provision in this application - surely SDC are going against all they believe in by approving this development.

And I bet the fairways flood - has anybody considered that??

I am so glad he is not man enough to rise above it.

Now all we have to do is sit back and enjoy the fireworks whilst he gets forum rage and tries to get the last comment in.

He can't even spell his best mate's name right.

Whenever we communicate in a setting where facial expressions, eye contact, body movement, posture and affirmative verbal expressions are absent, it's easy to thrust all of our emotions into abrupt, nonsensical or even abusive keystrokes.

With all the building that is going on at Junction 24 a golf course will be a good thing, There are plenty of people that enjoy a nice round of golf
Most people have to drive to Cannington or Taunton to play and with the incresed costs of fuel it makes sense to have something closer to town.

Well the Mercury Offices in the Clarence Hotel buildings are up for Lease, so perhaps it is so, but what do I know , the Mercury would tell their Labour friends before divulging such info to me.!
I'm sure Cllr Brian Smedley would answer that one? For you. As the Editor and Chief Reporter are based in the Gazette Offices opposite the road from Debenhams, in Taunton, my hunch would be yes.

Might even play a round or to myself, my handicap is too high, as its difficult playing with only 'Wings' .

On a serious note, any leisure Development, will be of benefit to the Surrounding Residents. Even Socialist Councillors, play Green Ball games, remember Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, playing Croquet @ Chequers, whilst in charge of the Country, when Blair was off on one of his oversea's Jaunt's @ the Taxpayers Expense.

There is Enmore (if your face fits and you happen to be adept at strange hand-shakes)

Good thing about being a golfer, possible to get a Birdie on occasions.

Sorry, I forgot that there was a golf course in Enmore However I don't know where it is and I wouldn't use it anyway as I don't play golf, but I'm sure that many people would like to play at J24 as there are the facilities there, Cafe, Restaurant and whatever else, And we all know about the secret handshakes, perhaps that was what Blue Owl was on about, Or perhaps he really lives in his own weird little world, who knows?

You really must get out more, and stop reading the Mercury. everyone in the Country, knew that Deputy Prime Minister, whilst staying @ Chequers a few years ago , was photographed playing Croquet on the Lawns, whilst supposedly running the Country in PM
Blairs absence.

You obviously no nothing, about the Order of which you make snide comments about. It is clear from your Posts that you have no friends or acquaintances that would offer you to become a Member. Your handshake therefore, has no worth, or little. !! As when you shake the hand of a Bro, you know there is Trust, Commitment,
