THESE students at Chilton Trinity School - Jake Cox, Curtis Turner, Oliver Doyle and Hayden Baxter – have been taking part in Blue Mo Day, an event running in schools across Bridgwater this week, to raise thousands of pounds for a life-saving project.
Blue Mo Day was launched by students from Chilton Trinity and Robert Blake schools two years ago to support Unicef’s work in Mozambique.
Thousands of young people from schools across the town have got involved in a host of blue-themed activities, from wearing blue uniform to cooking blue cakes.
Schools involved this year include: Chilton Trinity, Robert Blake, Elmwood, Penrose, Hamp Junior, Kingsmoor, St Mary’s, Woolavington, Puriton, Westover Green, Otterhampton, St John and St Francis, The Link Education Centre, Westonzoyland, Wembdon St George’s, Somerset Bridge, Nether Stowey and Bridgwater College.
