    Vehicles are often turning right from the Clink into East Quay/Wylds Road after the lights have turned red (because they have passed the lights waiting to turn right) and the green phase for pedestrians is active.

    Admittedly this may not be the case here but the lights really do need a right filter arrow for this manouvere, it's 'an accident waiting to happen'

Accident at The Clink in Bridgwater Accident at The Clink in Bridgwater

A SERIOUS collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian at The Clink in Bridgwater has been cleared.

The incident happened at the junction with East Quay, around 11.30am.

The casualty, a 68-year-old man, was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol via air ambulance, where he was said to be in a 'critical' condition on Friday evening.
