In the response from him he said, that I was possibly able to telephone myself ( obviously he doesn't himself talk to His Highways Dept @ Dunball.
As I have already reported over the last 10 years Pot- Holes and indeed complete stretches of Highways that are substandard, but obviously good enough for us to endure here in Bridgwater. not good Enough!!
Just, today I have noted Cranleigh Gardens from The Lime Kiln Junction past the Cranleigh Dr 's Surgery, on to just before the St John's St Traffic Lights. Then as I drive along Westonzoyland Rd towards St Johns School, even more potholes, etc, these Hav'nt appeared over night....

To name a few.
Junction 24 Roundabout reductions, extra lanes, access to Services Improved, this is outstanding from the Agri Centre Development.5 yrs ago least.
New Bridge from Colley Lane over River to Taunton Rd- paid for by Stockmoor Housing Dev. !!! Delayed 3 Yrs, SCC, have given excuse after excuse, for the non Start, latest, they Hav'nt secured the land needed by CPO Orders.
Sainsbury / Curry's Retail Park Bridgwater, Improved access and Egress from Car Parks, additional Traffic Measures, so called to improve the Queues, we passed the Planning Appl, min 2-3 years ago, for the Retail units like Next to have a split level Mezzanine shopping model floor space.
Morrisons - main Distribution Warehouse / Despatch, Silverfish /Crandon Bridge , Puriton Hill DONE.
Bristol /Bath Rd Canon Roundabout, improvements to all access and Egress to the Approach roads Monmouth St, and from the Northgate Direction. No Work Started or indicated, start Dates.
Now on top of all this outstanding Highway work, we are awaiting the much Hyped EDF Hinkley C Highway Junction Improvements throughout the Town, on all Major Junctions, to enable the extra 800 HGV Movements per day, Shuttle Worker Bus numbers undisclosed, from EDF Park n Rides to be constructed, J24 Huntworth, and J23 18 months later, when Construction starts, It will be approved, there is no Doubt about that.
Than there will be all the existing Hinkley B Site Traffic, which has been given extended life of a further 7 yrs from 2016.
We, are getting no New Relief Rd to this EDFHinkley C Site.
All traffic to the Site will meet, does'nt matter where the Start Point @ The Quantock / Homberg Way Roundabout. B4 they merge and snake their way out to the Hinkley C
Developement Site, and Return through Bridgwater, non stop, 24/7 for up to 10 Years, if all goes to plan, but as this will be the Biggest Project in Europe, I will put money on it that the End Date will exceed 2020 as planned.
So where are we in all this, I will tell you, Smack Bang in the Bloxdy Middle, The Town will be Grid locked, the Traffic trying to get thro to Cannington, will be delayed every day.
So, What I want To Know from SCC, just what are you planning to do, on which Junctions and more importantly WHEN !!
Remember, you are servants of the Residents, we do not deserve to be kept in the Dark, It can not be news to you my Questions, as a SDC, I was asking then, still you were not giving answers.
I shall continue asking, the Portfolio Holder Cllr Harvey Siggs, and Cllr David Hall, Deputy Leader. SCC.
Until you are fed up with hearing from me, and it won't take me long to contact, the Press, if you @ County Hall continue with your evasive Game.
Take Notice, I have had enough runaround Non Responses!!
Yours Sincerely & With Determination
