Huge waste of time and money. 60k+ salary to decide the police budget?! I say start by sacking yourself, refusing any pay- off, and hiring real policemen and women.

I recommend that nobody votes, and then hopefully the idiots in charge of this country will realise what a stupid idea putting this to a public vote was.

You voting for any of them, Daddy-O?. You can run but you can"t hide. If you are thinking of taking the easy way out, and hanging yourself, think again.

It"s Blooby that we want to see hang himself, and die choking on his own blood and vomit. Not likely to give us that treat, though. The question now is, maybe all the sheep of zoy are wondering, what comes next?. The genie is out the bottle.

£75 million, that's what this government is spending on this "election", farcical.
The same government that has laid off 6,500 Policeman.

Who actually is this person?. What kind of wickedness have they perpetrated to inspire such reactions?. In July, the Mercury reported that "Two former NHS workers were arrested in Bridgwater on suspision of attempting to incite corruption in public office" - in simple English, perhaps trying to bribe the Police?. Why?. These individuals were relased on police bail until October. We have heard no more on this matter. Was this another example of a serious criminal trying to bribe their way out of trouble, eg, the infamous Mr. Blooby?.

What is this "attempting to incite corruption in public officials" matter all about?. What happened when these people answered their police Bail in October?. Have they been charged?. If the previous speculative comment is removed, that may servce as an indication.

I agree this election is not democracy in action,it is more like inaction. The candidates have to deposit a much larger sum than potential MPs at a general election.Even those being backed by their political parties are not receiving much help. You can only really find information on-line so those without access to a computer are really going to struggle to take an interest.
I am all in favour of elections for public office but this is a typical piece of David Cameron's work, badly done and badly run.
