Nightmares beat champions to win Knockout Cup

PREMIER-Division champions Udder Lot were outclassed by Nightmares in the Burnham, Highbridge & District Ladies' Skittles League Knockout Cup final at the Red Cow, Brent Knoll, on May 8.

Udder Lot dropped four pins on the first hand, then levelled the match on the second. However, solid play by Nightmares pulled pins on the next four hands and they won by 21 pins.

Sian Valentine and Pauline Hancock top-scored with 60 apiece for the winners.

Scores: Udder Lot 397, Nightmares 418 (Sian Valentine/Pauline Hancock 60).
