Rider seriously injured in Westonzoyland motorbike crash
POLICE in Bridgwater are appealing for information after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a road traffic collision near Westonzoyland on the weekend.
Paramedics were called to the A372 between Middlezoy and Westonzoyland at around 5.20pm last Sunday, to aid the rider of a yellow Suzuki GSXR motorcycle, which had left the road and ended up in a roadside ditch.
The male rider was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital with serious abdominal injuries, although these are not thought life threatening at this time.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have been on the A372 at the time.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact the Taunton Road Policing Unit on 0845-4567000 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
