Mercury in the hot and cold

3:41pm Thursday 21st February 2008

ONE Mercury reader have been very busy being caught on camera in different parts of the world.

New Zealander Mark Stewart played cricket for Wembdon Cricket Club as their overseas player throughout 2007.

He helped Wembdon to promotion to the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier league and he regularly enjoyed reading the match reports and other local news stories throughout his stay.

Mark was pictured with his paper on his travels back home to New Zealand after the finish of the cricket season, which included a visit to the Gobi desert and Mount Everest.

Next time you plan to head off across the world, be sure to follow in fellow readers' footsteps and pack a copy of your favourite paper.

Send your snaps to us, including your names and where you are, to: Mercury Around the World, Bridgwater Mercury, Royal Clarence House, York Buildings, High Street, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 3AT, or email newsdesk@bridgwatermercury.co.uk.
