RENOWNED creative company Forkbeard Fantasy are offering the chance for people to learn about filmmaking and animation while creating something truly unique for Bridgwater Carnival.
The aim is to make something that will be projected over Bridgwater High Street building before the procession starts.
Organisers aren’t giving much away but they have hinted that ‘monster tentacles’ will be involved!
The workshops with Forkbeard Fantasy will take place on Monday and Tuesday, October 29 and 30.
No previous experience is required – just imagination and a sense of fun.
A coach will collect participating families at 9.30am from the Engine Room in Bridgwater to take you to Forkbeard’s studios and return you for 5pm.
Families don’t have to do both days but are welcome to.
Participants can also visit the Engine Room on Wednesday, October 31, to see how the postproduction work is going.
If you can’t commit a whole day taster sessions will be on offer at Shipham Village Hall on Tuesday, October 30, where from 10am to 12.45pm you can learn about animation and make something for the above project (or from 1.15pm to 4pm there’s filmmaking).
A crèche is also available at these taster sessions.
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
