Display of art competition entries at Bridgwater Arts Centre

A DISPLAY of work from this year’s Bridgwater Art Challenge will be held at Bridgwater Arts Centre next Wednesday (July 4).
The challenge, an artistic gauntlet thrown down each year by the Chandos Society of Artists, invites artists to select a part of Bridgwater town that inspires them to record their own individual take on what they see.
The invited artist for this year’s challenge is Carole Watson, who will select her choice of ‘best in show’ to win a £50 prize.
The exhibition of work will be open to the public at the arts centre until Friday, July 27.
