AWARD-winning comedian Ardal O'Hanlon had an audience at The Long Paws Comedy Club in Wells in fits of laughter when he headlined a matinee performance.
A crowd packed into the afternoon show, which was put on due to overwhelming demand.
Compere Tom Toal warmed the audience up with his quirky gags, witty banter and occasional put down.
Multi-award winner Pat Cahill opened the show with surprisingly funny songs about dying dogs and choice fatigue. The winner of the Amused Moose Laugh Off 2011 and Hackney Empire New Act of the Year
2012 proved a hit with his offbeat humour.
Ardal, best known for playing bewildered lovable priest 'Dougal McGuire' in Channel 4's 'Father Ted, shared his wit and wonder with hilarious anecdotes.
He ran a ten minute encore, as both he and the audience seemed oblivious to time in this highly entertaining three man act.
