Puriton's Party in the Park is today!

PURITON will be come alive with music and lots of fun today as the village's Party in the Park flies into action.

After ex-Somerset County Cricket player Andy Caddick opens the festivities at 2pm, visitors will be able to make the most of more than 30 craft stalls, bouncy castles, fair rides, a dog show, Young Farmers tug-of-war, along with numerous games.

Then The Ovation Brothers, Voodoo Seven, The Bailertwines, Toni Antony, Ben Filler and Lizzy Hardy and Eye to Eye will all be performing live to their captive audiences from 6pm onwards.

The event, which is free to enter, will be raising money for the Brownies, the playgroup, the village hall and the church.
