Literary Link exhibition at Sea Breeze.


AN exhibition with a mixture of art produced by children and adults is showcasing at Sea Breeze art gallery in Burnham.

The Literary Link is the title of the exhibition and children from local schools were invited to participate.

The infants were asked to illustrate a well-known nursery rhyme while the juniors wrote and illustrated poems.

Timothy Smith and Margaret Micklewright have exhibited pictures alongside inspirational poems and Pippa Wood is showing an illustrated poem about Glastonbury.

Carly Quinton has illustrated her husband Tom's poems and Judith Champion has pictures inspired by poetry, as well as showing a book she has produced, called Fraggio, as a visual interpretation of a letter written by Fra Giovanni Giocondo in 1513.

The exhibition can be seen at Sea Breeze until Monday, March 15. The opening hours are from 10am until 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, except Wednesday when the closing time is 2pm.

The gallery is located at 37 Victoria Street, Burnham.
