TWO art exhibitions will be springing up on Easter weekend in the creative village of Moorlinch.
Moorlinch Art Group and Spring Farm Arts have worked together to display their work from Friday to Monday for visitors.
Made up of 16 members, Moorlinch Art Group will present their second annual exhibition in the light, bright church hall where the group meets weekly.
As well as paintings in oils, acrylics, watercolour and pastels, the group will also offer cards and textiles.
In the picturesque setting of the former Moorlinch Vineyard, new group Spring Farm Arts has emerged from artists' successful collaboration in past Somerset Art Weeks and the Christmas art fair.
Spring Farm Arts presents potter Clio Graham, jeweller Helen Jones and painters Anne Farmer, Jenny Graham and Nancy Farmer.
Nancy, who will be opening her new Cider Barn Gallery, said: “We work well together and people seem to enjoy the opportunity of seeing several different artists in the same place. This will be the first of a series of exhibitions taking place at the beginning of every month.”
Both exhibitions run from Friday, April 2 to Monday, April 4 starting at 11am. Moorlinch Art Group finishes at 4pm each day and Spring Farm Arts will be open until 5pm.
