MUSIC lovers will be flocking to Manor Gardens in Burnham on Sunday for the annual CADS Picnic in the Park.

The event features up and coming local artists as well as established names.

The event will be headlined by the 17-piece Veroneka Big Band, which will play the big swing sounds of Benny Goodman and singing the songs of that era and more.

Emerging singer, songwriter and guitarist Adam Smith will feature songs from his new album as well as live music from Bristol based The Phil King Band.

Organiser Mike Murphy said: “This is really an event for everyone and all the family. I look forward to bopping in the park.”

The event runs from 12.30pm to 5.30pm. There will be a real Somerset ale and cider bar, refreshments, snacks and lots of fun.
