BRIDGWATER Arts Centre has introduced a programme of three new energetic dance classes for this autumn, providing exciting opportunities for all age groups.

Running on Tuesday evenings from 6-7pm is a Bollywood Dance class. This fun class is led by local dancer Ceri Plested for ages 12 and above and all abilities are welcome to have a go at this exotic dance form.

Moving Tales classes take place on Wednesdays from 10.30am to 12noon and are creative dance classes for the active over 50s. With Kerris Seymour, share stories, memories and photographs of events in your life to inspire movement and dance.

No experience is necessary and the sessions cost just £3.50 per week, with tea and biscuits provided.

Street Steps with Pretty Good Girls Dance Theatre is a street dance class for young people. Taking place on Wednesdays, there is a one-hour class for ages eight to 11 at 4.45pm and another for ages 11-16 at 6pm. The class is ideal for beginners and those who want to improve, learn funky dance routines mixing pop and street dance steps.

With the latest tunes and dance grooves, it only costs £4 a week so head along to get fit and have fun. For more information or to book your place, call the Bridgwater Arts Centre on 01278-422700.
