Rising indie stars set for Bridgwater show
1:19pm Thursday 31st July 2008 in What's On By Rory McKeown
You Love Her Coz She's Dead may have a strange name but it's one people are hearing more of since their success at this year's Indy Awards.
BE prepared for an onslaught of energetic indie-electronica on August 8 as an award-winning outfit heads to the Bridgwater Rugby Club.
Up-and-coming group You Love Her Coz She's Dead may sound like the videogames of old but their sound is fresh, uplifting and bizarre.
Much like current indie favourites Crystal Castles, YLHCSD use a contemporary method of producing music through a combination of keyboards and old games consoles. Their high-tempo style may scare some but they have already been making waves in the music industry by scooping the Best Electronica Act at this year's Indy Awards.
Sections of the media have tipped them to appear on the cover of the NME and similar music publications in the near future, so make sure you head to the rugby club on August 8 to witness these rising stars.
Providing support will be powerpopsters Winch House, South-West based Everything We Left Behind and Bristol indie act Hiroshi.
Tickets are priced at £4 in advance and £5 on the door. Tickets are available from West Quay Records, Bridgwater.
