BRIDGWATER'S newest performance space, The McMillan Theatre is inviting the local community to attend a free Open Day on Saturday, May 21 between 11am – 3pm.
Pop along and have a look around the multi-million pound complex, which includes an auditorium space, orchestra pit, control room, fully-sprung dance studio, bar and conference facilities.
As the only theatre space of its size and type in the local area, it plays host to professional and community performances as well as college productions, conferences and art exhibitions.
Activities will be taking place in the foyer, auditorium, studio and landing, including children’s arts and crafts, dance and performing arts workshops and the Bridgwater College student band Luna Nova, to name but a few.
Using the Wishing Wall, visitors will also get a chance to win tickets to a performance of their choice, and be able to tuck in to a cream tea.
