THE sun may come out tomorrow - but tickets for Annie may all have gone.

That is the message from the Bridgwater Operatic Society who say theatre goers are snapping up tickets for the show at a record rate.

A limited number of remaining tickets will be on sale at the Carnival Centre in High Street, Bridgwater on Saturday, April 2, from 10am until 12 noon.

Annie, the world’s favourite family musical, comes to The McMillan Theatre Bridgwater from April 27 to 30, brought to you by multi award-winning Bridgwater Operatic Society. The show is directed by Sue Pomeroy, the musical director is Tony Pomeroy and Lucy Taylor is the choreographer.

Sue said that the cast was "one of the most talented she had worked with" and she was sure that the show would rival the very best award winning productions that the society had presented over the years.

Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. Determined to find her real parents, her luck changes when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the residence of famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search.

With its award-winning book and score, this stunning new production includes the unforgettable songs Hard Knock Life, Easy Street, I Don’t Need Anything But You and Tomorrow.
