EVERY so often, a fresh new talent comes along performing music which is as hard to label as it is beautiful.

Eleanor VS. (pronounced ‘verses’) is a singer-songwriter from Bristol whose compositions are intimately crafted and her voice warm, defined and bright.

This autumn she takes to the stage to perform songs from her first album ‘Passivity’ released in 2014 (under previous name Vanessa Hartley-McDonald) and to share some new musical creations which will feature on her upcoming project.

Eleanor VS is a lover of all styles of music, her own style reflecting that diversity, blending jazz, folk and classical with pop, rock and soul. Her intimately crafted compositions on guitar or piano are adorned with candid lyrics and warmly articulated melodies that are delivered sincerely by an intelligent voice.

"I’ve been singing ever since I can remember and making up songs since I was young. I love and appreciate all styles of music and create whatever comes out of my heart and to mind," she explains.
