IN the words of everyone’s favourite urchinorphan, Oliver, the audience was left wanting more at the latest production by the ACTS Theatre School.
There was a sell-out crowd each night at Bridgwater Town Hall as the talented cast of performers, aged from eight to 18, performed Lionel Bart’s musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic.
The 80-strong cast re-created favourite songs such as "You’ve Got To Pick A Pocket Or Two" and “Food, Glorious Food” with each number earning a rapturous round of applause from the audience.
ACTS are taking a well-earned rest before starting rehearsals soon for their next show in November. This will be a fun-packed variety show featuring hits from the musicals.
Watch out for more details nearer the time.
