THE Walled Gardens of Cannington in Bridgwater are hosting two days of spooky activities in time for Hallowe’en.
There will be pumpkins ready to be carved, trails to be explored and fancy dress costumes to be haunted by.
Children and adults alike are invited to discover as much of the gardens as they like, finding the pumpkins on their way.
Also adults are dared to explore some historic haunted settings at the centre of a number of medieval ghost tales.
There is also the tomb of Bishop Peter Bernardine Collingridge, who died in 1829, situated in the gardens for those who dare to seek it.
Tickets to the Hallowe’en event cost £5 per child and the accompanying adult per child goes free.
The admission fee includes entrance to the gardens, a drink of squash, a biscuit and a pumpkin.
Tickets can be purchased from the Walled Gardens’ Gift Shop or from the website at store.bridgwater.ac.uk
