Bridgwater Mercury: Bridgwater talent sought for Street Theatre auditions Bridgwater talent sought for Street Theatre auditions

STREET Theatre is casting its net countywide for its next major production.

The company is searching for strong actors to take part in Arthur Miller’s classic, ‘All My Sons’, to be staged in November.

Regarded as one of the top ten plays of the 20th Century and establishing Miller as one of the greatest playwrites of the century, ‘All My Sons’ is a moving portrait of an American family smashed apart in a collision of ethics, loyalties and love.

Set on an idyllic summer's day in Joe and Kate Keller’s backyard, thoughts turn to their youngest son, who was missing in action in World War II.

A visitor arrives to reveal a secret which is to strike at the heart of the Keller's family life.

This challenging work demands strong performances from actors (playing age circa 30) and actresses (playing age circa 25).

A pre-audition workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 24, at 7.30 pm with auditions on July 1 and 6, all in Street (for details call Phil Turley 07802 719519 or producer Di Dean on 01458 250852 or email thisisdidean@hotmail.com).
