A BEATLES-OBSESSED musical satirist and BBC Radio 4 Now Show regular will perform at Bridgwater Arts Centre on Saturday, June 7.

Talented ‘Scouser’ Mitch Benn, described by The Times as the UK’s ‘leading musical satirist’, says he has spent his life fixated by Liverpool’s Fab Four.

But his show, ‘The 37th Beatle’, which previewed at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe to rave reviews, is “most definitely not a tribute show”, he says.

And while Benn may not be of the comedy panel show mainstream, this man has nevertheless built up a steady live following.

Chortle has recommended a dose of Benn for “anyone who likes music, hates Simon Cowell and likes learning new things”.

Tickets cost £15 (£10 concessions) from the arts centre and the show starts at 8pm.
