MUSICAL crew: Taunton Concert Band.
A GRAND show of music from Taunton Concert Band will celebrate the opening of Bridgwater’s New Hospital on Friday.
The programme features marches and overtures, including the Eagle Squadron by Kenneth J Alford, the Light Cavalry by Franz von Suppé, and Meredith Wilson’s Seventy Six Trombones.
It also includes music from Les Misérable, The Golden Age of Broadway, and Jesus Christ Superstar, with a storming finale expected in the form of Hollywood!, arranged by Warren Barker.
The concert starts at 7.30pm at Bridgwater town hall. Reserved seats cost £8 from the Carnival Centre and Mary Porter on 01278-450827.
