MARKETEERS Carnival Club made a return to their old venue, Chilton Trinity School, on March 1 in its swish new building, with a spectacular cabaret night of music, laughter and excitement.

Host Steve Arnold looked very dapper in his peacock blue outfit, using his considerable experience to put the audience in the mood for the acts to come.

Polished vocal act Louise Jones kicked off with “Forget You,” ‘Valerie,’ and Abba medley.

High-energy speciality act, Steve Arnold, showed amazing feats of skill and dexterity with a technical level of juggling accompanied by Irish Riverdance music.

Post-interval, Jack Glanville kept the intensity up with his jokes and antics before introducing Beat Legends to fill the room with music from the swinging sixties, from Jerry and the Pacemakers and the Searchers to the Beatles.

Well worth venturing out on a cold night and getting away from Saturday night television for live entertainment – nothing beats it.
