SPRING is in the air for Bridgwater’s long-standing Chandos Society of Artists.
For the spring season the society is holding its tenth annual lecture in honour of British landscape artist, Bridgwater Arts Centre founder and Chandos Society president Jean Rees, who died in 2005.
West Country mixed-media artist Ray Balkwill will give a talk on ‘An Artist’s View’ at 2.30pm on Saturday, March 8, followed by a private view of the Chandos exhibition.
Entry costs £3 for members, including a glass of wine.
The spring exhibition is on March 5-29, Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm Wednesday to Friday, and 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.
