A SINGING contest to root out the best talent Burnham and Highbridge has to offer reaches the semi-finals on Sunday from 5pm to 9.30pm.

The Royal Clarence Hotel on Burnham’s Esplanade has been holding a Karaoke Star Search competition with the winner set to win £400 and £100 to second place.

Hearts will be racing as 26 contestants step up to perform two songs each in front of the judges and live audience.

Contestants must arrive by 4.45pm and sign in at the bar.

Only 14 singers will be picked to go through to the final on Sunday, March 9, from 6pm-9pm.
